UK citizens travelling to the Czech Republic after 31 December 2020 will fall under the category of third-country nationals. When staying in the Czech Republic for more than 90 days, UK citizens will need to apply for a long-stay visa or long-term residence at a Czech embassy. The Czech Republic will start from 1 January 2021 to accept applications for long-term residence from UK citizens.

 

Where can you apply for long-term residence?

  • at all embassies of the Czech Republic abroad, i.e.
  • at the Czech Embassy in London / Berlin / Brussels / Bucharest / Dublin / Sofia / Warsaw / Vienna or Zagreb
