Who is this government programme for?

  • This government program is suitable for investors who have been operating in the Czech Republic for 1 year with an organization in the Czech Republic and abroad, who currently employ 50 employees in the Czech Republic and 250 worldwide. In particular, it can be used by research organisations on the Ministry of Education and Science’s list, as well as technology companies, start-ups and newly established companies.

  • This includes in-house transferred specialists, managers, statutory body positions or newly recruited employees who are employed by the head office. Grades 1-3 CZ-ISCO in the manufacturing, service, or public sector (with the exception of health care occupations, which falls under the government’s highly skilled worker program These include jobs such as software developers, IT specialists, sales directors, etc.

  • It is also intended for all third countries.

Under the Government's Key and Scientific Personnel Programme, you can apply for the residential degrees listed below:

  • employee card (dual/non-dual)
  • blue card
  • Intra-corporate transferee card

Benefits for applicants under the government programme

  • It is therefore a priority approach to submitting an application to the relevant Czech embassy abroad
  • Option to apply together with family members
  • Guaranteed processing of the application within 30 days
  • Applicants for an employee card and an intra-corporate transferee card can replace the following documents: proof of accommodation, employment contract, proof of education and secondment letter with a written statement from the employer.
  • The holder of an employee card is entitled to change employer before the expiry of the period for which the card was issued
