Important information
- A foreigner who intends to stay in the territory temporarily for more than 1 year is entitled to apply for a long-term residence permit
- Long-term residence is valid for 2 years
- The application is submitted to the competent office of the Ministry of the Interior on condition that the foreigner is staying in the territory of the Czech Republic on the basis of a long-term visa or long-term residence.
- The personal presence of the applicant at the competent Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic is necessary.
- The time limit for processing the issue or refusal of long-term residence is 90 days
