First of all, it is important to know that any change must be approved by the Ministry of the Interior.<\/p>\n
However, the foreigner is entitled to change employer after six months from the date of issue of the first employment card and the duration of the first employment relationship. If the employment relationship has been terminated for the reasons referred to in Section 52(a) to (e) of Act No. 262\/2006 Coll., the Labour Code, as amended, by the employer’s termination of the employment relationship during the probationary period or by immediate termination pursuant to Section 56 of the Labour Code, then the employment may be changed before the aforementioned six-month period.<\/p>\n
The foreigner must notify the change at least 30 days before it takes place.<\/p>\n

As soon as a foreigner terminates his\/her employment, he\/she is obliged to find a new job within 60 days and apply to the competent Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic for consent to change the employer.<\/p>\n

The foreigner is obliged to report any changes, be it a change of address, a change of travel document, a change of name or marital status, to the competent Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic within the statutory deadlines.<\/p>\n
